- Affordable Living, Fair Pay – Fight for fair wages and affordable housing
- Support Small Businesses and Local Entrepreneurs – Cut red tape, expand access to capital, and invest in local business incubators to help LD14’s small businesses grow, hire, and thrive.
- Invest in Workforce Development and Job Training – Partner with community colleges, trade schools, and employers to offer career-ready training in high-demand fields like healthcare, technology, and clean energy.
- Champion Inclusive Economic Growth – Ensure economic development benefits all residents—by supporting affordable housing, fair wages, and pathways to upward mobility.
- Modernize Infrastructure to Attract Investment – Work to upgrade roads, broadband, and public transit to make us more competitive for new industries and job creators.
- Fund Public Schools Fairly – Fight to increase per-student funding and ensure resources reach the classrooms that need them most.
- Support and Retain Great Teachers – Champion competitive pay, professional development, and respect for educators.
- Strengthen Oversight of ESA Spending – Support greater oversight and transparency to prevent fraud and restore public trust. The Empowerment Scholarship Account program must serve students—not special interests.
- Enforce Urban Water Budgets – Advocate for enforceable conservation targets for cities and industries to ensure sustainable growth.
- Modernize Infrastructure – Support investments in leak detection, recycled water systems, and smart meters to reduce waste.
- Protect Shared Aquifers – Expand groundwater protections in surrounding rural areas to safeguard our water supply.
- Empower Local Innovation – Promote partnerships with tech and engineering sectors to develop and pilot water-saving solutions.
- Preserve Natural Water Systems – Protect rivers, aquifers, and green spaces that support our water cycle and community well-being.
